A Better World is participating in BI-LO’s boostersplus fund-raising program.  You can earn money for A Better World by simply shopping at any BI-LO with your BONUSCARD.  Click here to download a sent of enrollment cards and give one to the cashier along with your BONUSCARD to be scanned within your grocery order.  This one-time scan will enroll you for A Better World until May 31, 2010, and A Better World will receive one percent of your purchases.  Give the extra enrollment cards to family and friend, so that they can help us raise money as well.

All of our students participate in an incentive program, where they earn points for participation, leadership, and good grades. Our parents too, earn incentive points through volunteer hours at the program. As such, we are always on the lookout for gift cards to stores like Wal*Mart, Food Lion, and Bi-Lo to honor our students and parents.

How does this work?  You can make a donation to support the after school program in denominations of $1.  You can donate $1 for each member of your family, church member, your age, etc.  For example, if you donate $1 for the number of people that attend your church, and your church has 65 members, then you would donate $65.  Please let your friends and family know about this great way to support A Better World.  All checks are made payable to A Better World.  Please send your donation to: A Better World c/o ABW Dollar Days, P.O. If you enjoy going to the race track, and plan to do so in 2011... here is a way that you can purchase your ticket and support our effort in serving at-risk youth in our community!

Charlotte Motor Speedway has established a Ticket Sales Affiliate Program to help non-profit organizations — like A Better World — to acquire the financial resources needed to help serve their communities when you purchase a Charlotte Motor Speedway ticket! A Better World receives a portion of the proceeds! 

Click here to see a list of races that are available. You can also use this list to share with your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors who have a passion both for racing... AND helping at-risk youth actualize their potential.

Special note:  If you prefer to make your ticket purchase with cash or check, you can go to the Charlotte Motor Speedway office to do so.  (Also, money given to A Better World through your purchase is not tax deductible, if you keep the tickets for personal use.)

A Better World provides many opportunities for volunteering.  All areas of expertise are appreciated… from tutoring to devotions, and computer support to food.  Being a non-profit organization, A Better World functions through the help of volunteers.
